My name is Jenna Lombardo and I am a graduate student in clinical psychology at Adler University. For my dissertation study, I am interviewing mothers who experienced the death of a child due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS),with the hope to inform current research and counseling practices and help other parents and families. The mothers who would like to participate will be interviewing with me, and sharing their experiences in psychotherapy and in the couple relationship they were in at the time of her child’s death. Interviews will last about 60 minutes, and may be conducted in-person or over Zoom. You will be making a profound and helpful contribution for others who have gone through tragic losses, and for those who want to help and support grieving parents and families. My study has been approved by my school's ethics review board, and of course, I will be taking additional steps to help protect your identity. 

Participants must…

• Identify as female.
• Be 18 years of age or older & must have been at least 18 years of age when the death occurred.
• Have had a child who died from SIDS at least one year ago.
• Have been in a couple relationship at the time of the loss (you did not have to be legally married at the time of the loss).
• Have been in psychotherapy at some point after the death of your child.
