Would You Like To Take Part In A Study About Mental Health?
We are currently looking for UK participants aged 18-65 to take part in a study about mental health and the use of alcohol or other psychoactive drugs. In order to take part, you must currently live in the UK and have a good understanding of the English language. People who do and do not use drugs or alcohol are welcome to participate.
- The aim of the study is to explore links between mental health and different drug and alcohol use patterns in the general population. The results may help us to provide better support for people who are experiencing mental health and substance use problems.
- This is a 2-part study: you will be asked to complete 2 online questionnaires spaced 4 weeks apart. The first questionnaire takes 25 minutes to complete, the follow-up questionnaire takes just 5 minutes. All questionnaires are completed anonymously.
- Upon completion of the follow-up questionnaire, you will be offered entry into a prize draw to win one of four £50 Amazon vouchers.
- The research is being organised by the Department of Psychology at the University of Sheffield and is led by Sophie Pott. The project has received full ethical approval from the University of Sheffield ethics review board (ref:036856).
