Want To Increase Your Walking?

Hello!

Recent research has found that walking regularly can help improve memory, attention, and decision-making, as well as reduce both stress and the risk of cognitive decline.

The Boston Roybal Center (RALI Boston) and Lifespan Lab at Brandeis University are looking for individuals ages 60 and above to take part in a one-month study investigating the use of a walking app to increase physical activity. The study can be completed entirely via the phone and internet – there is no need to come to the lab.

The RALI Boston Step Mate study involves using an iPhone app to keep track of steps taken every day. It involves filling out questionnaires and communicating with our research team via the app, text messages, email, and telephone. Upon completing the study, you will receive a $25 Amazon.com e-gift card. You will also be able to keep the walking app in appreciation of your contributions.
