Employees’ Experiences, Well Being, & Attitudes Study
I am currently recruiting participants for a study focused on employees’ experiences, well-being, and attitudes at work. The goal of the study, lead by Megan Nolan, an Assistant Professor of Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology, and myself, Amy Collins, a master’s student at West Chester University, is to understand stressors experienced by employees at work and identify effective ways to improve the well-being of employees. To do so, we need to learn more about you and your experiences. By participating, you will have a chance to win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards!
By participating in this study, you will be asked to complete a 5-minute recruitment form today. You will then be emailed an enrollment survey that takes 45 minutes to complete and will earn you 2 lottery tickets. Once this is complete, you will be enrolled in the second part of the study where you will be asked to complete three short surveys per working day for up to seven days. These surveys will take about 5 minutes to complete and will be sent to your e-mail at specific times. Minimum participation involves having three complete days of responses and will earn you 3 more lottery tickets. Complete 7 days of these surveys to earn 15 lottery tickets.
To qualify for the study, you must be at least 18 years old and work in the United States at least 30 hours per week. In addition, your job must require you to interact with your supervisor several times per week. Interactions may occur in-person, online via email or other online communications (e.g., Skype, Webex, Slack), and/or via the phone (calls or texts).
Please contact me, Amy Collins (AC918773@wcupa.edu) with any questions or concerns about the study. In addition, if you know of someone who is eligible for the study and would be interested in participating, please forward the above link along!
Thank you for your participation and support!
An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at West Chester University reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable, according to applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.
