Recruitment For Study On Custody Arrangement Satisfaction

Hello,

My name is Susan Lok and I am a doctoral student at Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. I am recruiting participants for my study, which is looking at children’s experience post-parental divorce, who experienced placement at their custodial parents’ household as unsatisfactory. I am looking for participants between the ages of 18 and 21, who have experienced parental divorce between the ages of 6-12, and who felt dissatisfied with their placement following the court-mandated custody arrangement. Participants in Chicago, Illinois or in nearby suburbs will be interviewed in-person, while participants who fit criteria in other parts of the United States will be asked to download and be interviewed through a HIPAA-compliant video chat service. Interviews will last anywhere between 60-90 minutes. Participants will also be asked to bring between three to five photographs with them that are reminiscent of that time period. Participants will receive compensation in the form of a $30 Visa gift card upon completion of the interview. Interested participants should contact me at slok@adler.edu or at (650) 274-7338 for more information. Thank you for your time and consideration!
