Remote Workers / Telecommuters Needed For Online Focus Group
As part of my final graduate course at Purdue University, I’m organizing online focus groups for telecommuters and remote workers. Participants will be asked to share their thoughts about what might help individuals feel connected to their organization and their colleagues when working outside the traditional office. The research aims to generate suggestions for what workplaces can do to alleviate any feelings of social or professional isolation their remote / telecommuting staff may experience.
These small group discussions will last approximately 60 minutes and will take place online. No webcam or microphone is required, as the discussions will be text-based. Those who participate in a focus group discussion will receive a $15 Amazon gift card in appreciation of their assistance. In the event that participant availabilities do not allow for full focus groups, individual interview opportunities may be made available with the same incentive offered.
If you are a remote worker or telecommuter, your insight would be greatly valued in this project. To sign up to participate, please fill out a brief availability form at https://purdue.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3t66cQzkAFqNGFn as soon as you are able so focus group times can be scheduled. Groups will be held beginning as early as April 10, and are expected to close on April 16.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the study, please feel free to contact me at any time at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
