Exposure To Police Brutality In The Media

Do you currenlty live in the U.S.?
Do you speak English proficiently?
Have you viewed video footage of the shooting of Philando Castile?

*If you have not NOT viewed video footage of the shooting of Philando Castile (or any of the above qualifications) you will not be eligible for participation in the research study.
The purpose of this research study is to gather information pertaining to the effects of indirect exposure to police brutality against Black Americans in the media. Eligible participants will be asked to complete a survey that will take approximately 10 minutes. You will be asked to complete a demographics questionnaire, two measures and answer additional questions after being provided with a brief description of the video and it's outcomes. Survey questions will ask you about your attitudes about police, race, involvement in social justice issues, and trauma symptoms.
Participation in voluntary, confidential and participants can opt out at any time during the study.
