Approximate 20-minute Exercise And 19-question Survey
I am working to complete my PhD in Computer Information Systems. I people to participate in a web-based online exercise and survey. Participants must be at least 18 years old, speak English, and have backgrounds in one or more of the following:
* Information Technology (servers, storage, networking, operations),
* Applications development and support,
* Cloud migration,
* Virtualization, or
* Data center consolidation to participate in a web-based online experiment and survey.
The goal of this study is to understand if contributors will be more willing to share their tacit knowledge (knowledge gained through experience) using a storytelling-based approach. The scenarios are very general and likely occur in all or most all IT/applications departments.
The end-to-end process which includes the exercise and a 19-question survey requires an approximate 20-minute commitment. The survey must be completed as that is how I answer my dissertation questions. Once I have reached the number of participants, I will close the study and a drawing will be held for $500 for those who completed the survey.
Once the study is closed, the site will come down.
Go to http://www.DocHarley.com. One of the selections is ‘Participant Instructions’. This provides step-by-step instructions for participating and explains how the drawing will be conducted.
Compensation: Drawing for $500 after study; must complete the survey
